Blue Seraph Productions is a GLBT production company committed to strong progressive values that shed light on the experiences of GLBT people. Blue Seraph Productions doesnt focus on a lifestyle; we tell stories built on the universal principles that make us human. Laughter or tears, were all the same.
Blue Seraph was founded by J.T. Tepnapa in 2000 as SkyAngel Films with its first short film, Sunflowers. In 2002, J.T. followed up with the hit, Masturbation: Putting the Fun Into Self-Loving, one of the festival circuits best-received short comedies in years. Masturbation went on to smash screenings at film festivals in seven countries, winning multiple awards, and receiving distribution through CFMDC, TLA, and Canal+.
J.T.s next effort was another festival gem. Drag Queen Heist continues to win awards at festival screenings across North America.
In 2006, Blue Seraphs latest release, a short film titled Begging for Change, hit the festival circuit, quickly winning Best Dramatic Short at QCinemas Fort Worth Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. The film is a departure from J.T.s previous comedies, treading on the darker side of the human experience.
Currently in post-production, Blue Seraphs comedy And the Oscar Goes to
is a tongue-in-cheek exploration of the success of Masturbation.
Judas Kiss is Blue Seraphs first feature film.
Blue Seraph continues to explore the themes of tolerance and self-discovery through comedy and drama. Sitting on Hollywoods fringe, we operate on the smallest of budgets but with largest of ambition. We are always looking for artists and film lovers to help us create the best films we can imagine. |
